THE CHAIR, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND

Inspiration

Our inspiration was our love of gaming and the desire to allow all to love gaming as well.

What it does

It allows gamers with low motor control functions to enjoy the games they have never been able to play.

How I built it

We used a Arduino Micro micro-controller to interface with a laptop. We attached two joysticks and several buttons to allow the Chair to integrate with most modern video games. All these input devices are within easy reach of the user's hands without needing to even move your wrist.

Challenges I ran into

We ran into several obstacles with the analog joystick shorting out the analog ports of the Arduino Micro

What's next for Chair: Gaming Evolved

The next step in our development process would be to clean up the design and get some focus group testing done.
