Inspiration

While reading up on DAOs we realized that DAO members are collectively responsible for all important decisions of a protocol, and the people in charge have no platform to actually discuss issues and come to conclusions with utmost privacy and security. Our dApp ChainTalk aims to solve this issue with a decentralized web3 platform designed specifically for DAO members.

What it does

ChainTalk is a decentralized, web3-powered communication platform designed specifically for DAO members. It provides a secure and authenticated way for DAO communities to connect, collaborate, and share information

Challenges we ran into

Challenges we ran into are that all of us had our final exams and other intensive college workloads within the hackathon duration and therefore lost the initial 15 days of the hackathon. Post that we were faced with problems of thinking and agreeing upon a project idea. Another problem was that all of us being beginners didn't have great skill or a vast bank of knowledge and therefore had to learn most of things as we went which increased time required and errors due not knowing of the particular properties and qualities attached.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the fact that despite challenges we have built a project and have learnt a lot in the time of the hackathon. We have also learned how to work in a team in an effective manner and to communicate effectively in the online setting as required for a group project idea.

What we learned

We learned many new technologies and how implement them ti make a project in an effective manner. We learnt how to work effectively in an online workspace.

What's next for ChainTalk

Decentralize Text Messaging - Empower DAO members to communicate securely through a fully decentralized text messaging component built on blockchain technology. Integrate Web3 Wallet - Seamlessly connect ChainTalk to users' Web3 wallets, enabling frictionless access and token-gated features. Enhance UI/UX - Refine the user interface and overall experience, making ChainTalk more intuitive and accessible for both tech-savvy and non-technical DAO members.
