What it does
ChainShots is a decentralized video platform that enables content creators to have full control and ownership of their content. It utilizes blockchain technology to store all the details of the video content, ensuring its immutability and accessibility to creators at any time. By eliminating intermediaries, ChainShots allows creators to receive direct rewards from their audience in native cryptocurrency payments, without any fees. The platform also enables content monetization, where creators can earn rewards based on the value their content brings to the audience. Additionally, ChainShots provides a transparent and decentralized environment for creators to interact with their audience and receive feedback on their content. 🎥🔗💻
How we built it
ChainShots was built using several technologies and frameworks. The platform is built on the Flow blockchain, which provides a secure and scalable infrastructure for decentralized applications. ChainLink Data Feed is integrated to ensure reliable and accurate data for video content details. The front end of the platform was developed using Next.js, a popular React framework, while TailwindCSS was used for styling and design. On the backend, Hardhat, a development environment for Ethereum-based projects, was utilized. The development process involved smart contract development, integrating blockchain components, designing user interfaces, and ensuring the overall functionality and security of the platform. 🛠️🔨
