Inspiration
The inspiration for ChainSeats came from a desire to leverage blockchain technology to simplify and secure event management. Traditional event platforms often face issues with data security, real-time updates, and centralization. We aimed to create a decentralized solution that addresses these challenges and provides a seamless user experience.
What it does
ChainSeats is a decentralized application built on Linera’s microchain technology. It allows users to create, manage, and participate in events with features such as creating, subscribing, unsubscribing, and deleting events. The platform ensures secure data storage, fast finality, and real-time interactions.
How we built it
We built ChainSeats by integrating Linera’s microchain technology for its decentralized infrastructure. The frontend was developed using standard web technologies, while the backend utilized Rust for efficient and secure blockchain interactions. We also implemented features like cross-chain messaging and multi-user chains to enhance the platform’s functionality.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges was ensuring data security and real-time updates across decentralized chains. Integrating cross-chain messaging and managing multi-user chains also presented technical complexities. Additionally, optimizing the user experience while maintaining decentralized principles required careful balancing.
