Inspiration
This is my first time learning about the rise of blockchain technologies as well as critical security challenges that come along with analyzing smart contracts. A lot of money is lost every year due to vulnerabilities in smart contracts. I wanted to create a solution that empowers developers to build secure and optimized contracts efficiently.
What it does
ChainScout analyzes smart contracts for vulnerabilities, optimizations, and adherence to best practices. It uses a specialized language model (SLM) trained on decentralized data sources, including verified smart contracts, audit logs, and known exploits. Developers can validate and optimize their contracts in real time, reducing risks and increasing trust.
How we built it
I did a lot of research on smart contract analysis to make a pitch deck. While the product hasn't been built yet (I'd love to work on it in the future though!), the prototype of ChainScout uses a specialized language model that is trained on smart contract languages such as Solidity or Rust that helps target security vulnerabilities and patterns. It also uses a decentralized data source to aggregate verified smart contracts, audit results, exploit data from various sources and uses blockchain and IPFS for storage.
Challenges we ran into
I'm not really familiar with blockchain technologies, but it was fun to learn more about them and expand my knowledge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I was able to make a pitch deck and learn so much from this ideathon!
What we learned
- The importance of combining AI and blockchain to solve real-world problems.
- How decentralized storage like IPFS can improve data accessibility and trust.
- The value of developer-friendly tools in accelerating Web3 adoption.
What's next for ChainScout
Actually making it into a product, I guess :)
