Chainlearn

Inspiration

I was inspired to work on this project due to the experience I've had with people who weren’t able to get hold of a job due to their employee not been able to verify the source of their credentials. So we are here to address the issues of fraud and misrepresentation in educational qualifications by leveraging the immutable nature of blockchain.

What it does

Chainlearn enables students own verifiable educational credentials on the blockchain.

How we built it

I built this project using the blockchain to hold immutable records on-chain which can be verifiable by anyone while other heavy data are stored off-chain. I built it using React for the frontend, NodeJS for the backend and solidity smart contract.

Challenges we ran into

One of the major challenge I had is time constraints finishing up the project before the deadline

What's next for Chainlearn.

Looking forward to having our first official release verson where we can start onboarding people
