Inspiration
Our project is inspired by a profound commitment to addressing the social injustice stemming from poor record-keeping and accountability issues in academic evaluation, especially in rural areas. In these regions, students face heightened challenges, navigating a system rife with manual errors and inconsistencies. Our mission is to bridge this gap, ensuring every student, regardless of their location, has access to a transparent and reliable academic assessment.
The core of our project is dedicated to rectifying this fundamental problem. Through the creation of a robust CGPA Calculator, we aim to empower students in rural areas with a dependable tool for accurate academic tracking. No longer will they be held back by uncertainties and manual inaccuracies; our solution brings clarity and efficiency to the forefront of educational evaluation, fostering inclusivity and justice.
What it does
This CGPA Calculator, tailored to suit the unique needs of students in rural areas, streamlines the calculation process. It effortlessly computes students' Cumulative Grade Point Average, providing a tool for accurate and efficient academic tracking, even in areas with limited resources.
How we built it
The project was built using a Code Editor called VS code to write the codebase A local server was used to check out the interface of the project before deployment. git and GitHub were utilised to keep track of the development Vercel was utilised as a cloud service.

What's next for CGPA Calculator
Looking ahead, we plan to implement features like digital certification for easy referencing, to establish connections between students with low academic performance and educational counsellors and how to make this calculator available offline that is without the use of data. Our commitment extends beyond the calculator itself; we aim to create a holistic system that uplifts and supports students facing social injustices in their academic journey.
