Inspiration

Fake certificates are common in jobs and academics. Manual verification is slow and unreliable, so I built an AI-powered system to automatically detect fake certificates quickly and accurately.

What it does

CertiCheck AI lets users upload certificates and uses OCR and AI analysis to classify documents as Real, Suspicious, or Fake with confidence scores and explanations.

How I built it

Built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript frontend, Node.js backend, MongoDB database, and Python AI service with OCR for document analysis and verification.

Challenges I ran into

Integrating Node.js with Python AI, handling multiple certificate formats, and ensuring accurate OCR extraction and smooth API communication were key challenges.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of I built a full-stack AI certificate verification system with upload, analysis, confidence scoring, and verification history dashboard.

What I learned

I learned full-stack AI integration, Node.js and Python communication, MongoDB usage, OCR implementation, and building real-world AI solutions.
