Inspiration

We went through multiple mental health apps, read case studies & mental wellness blogs to take inspiration and learn more about prioritizing mental wellness. The main motive behing building cerospace was to give people an affordable & minimalistic platform to keep track & improve their mental health.

What it does

Cerospace is a mental health & wellness platform - a user can login, & track their mood by logging in their mood on a daily basis on a scale of great to terrible, they can select what's been affecting their day & also write stuff about their day and log it- we have a visualization in the form of a graph right in their dashboard through which they can track their mood. We have an entire section focused on carefully curated resources for crisis & help, breathing exercises, guided meditations- videos & articles. We have an AI-powered cognitive behavioral therapy chatbot which helps people resasses their life and get rid of negative thoughts. We also have an AI therapist, you can talk to our AI therapist anytime available 24*7 at your disposal- its like talking to a human being through voice conversation.

How we built it

It uses Google's Generative AI API (Gemini API) to help people using proven techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Narrative Therapy. We have used Hume AI's EVI (Empathic Voice Interface) to build an AI therapist- it can detect the sentiment from your voice/tone and understand the context of your conversation & help you out. We have used a detailed custom prompt in the backend. The front-end is built with React & TailwindCSS, we have used Supabase as a database.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into problems during deployment but we were able to fix it. We hosted the front-end on cloudlfare and backend on railway.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to build the entire full-stack app and integrate the AIs into our app within the time constraints and we worked together well as a team.

What we learned

We learned a lot about design, web dev - be it front-end, backend or deployment or git & github. We also learned how to use Supabase which we have never used before.
