Inspiration
A common and big problem during large events is that guests often have to wait in certain places. In this time hardly anything can be done. With our app it is possible for the waiting guests to get additional information and to experience it there own language without hanging up many real-world displays.
What it does
Assist guests while they wait in queues or elsewhere during CERN Open Labs Days It uses the power of AR and your smartphone to display further information to the guests or to make 3D simulations tangible.
How we built it
Our main focus was, to track markers with vuforia and get their position in Unity. Afterwards we added different kind of content to Load onto those markers and make everything accessible with an ui.
What's next for CERN Guest Guide
The next step is, to add more marker types and different content to visualize, e.g. shuttle bus or up comming events. To make the experience more interactive, mini games or controllable animations at different marker positions are possible
