CEREBRO – Tone Intelligence

Inspiration

CEREBRO was inspired by the difficulty of understanding emotions, sarcasm, and hidden intentions in digital conversations. Text messages often lack facial expressions and voice tone, leading to misunderstandings.

What It Does

CEREBRO analyzes conversations to identify emotional tones, detect sarcasm and passive aggression, and track emotional changes across multiple messages. It helps users better understand the context and tone of digital communication.

How We Built It

We developed CEREBRO as an AI-powered conversation analysis project, focusing on natural language processing, contextual analysis, and emotion detection. Our goal is to make digital communication easier to understand.

Challenges We Faced

One major challenge was understanding sarcasm and emotions from text alone. The same sentence can express different meanings depending on the context and previous messages. Detecting these subtle changes while providing meaningful results was another challenge.

What We Learned

Through CEREBRO, we explored the importance of contextual understanding in AI, the challenges of emotion detection, and how intelligent systems can improve digital communication.

Future Improvements

We aim to improve contextual accuracy, support multiple languages, enhance sarcasm detection, and provide better visualizations of emotional changes throughout conversations.
