Inspiration
My inspiration was from my personal issues. I've always enjoyed how Apple Music has censored versions of essentially all of their songs that are explicit, and I disliked that I didn't have such a feature for myself and my personal music files library.
What it does
It removes expletives from any song file uploaded to the service, and then returns the cleaned version as a downloadable file
How we built it
The backend is entirely in Python, and the frontend is a web app designed solely in Javascript and Python
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was that many algorithms were struggling with transcribing music that was heavily autotuned.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm very proud of the user flow,
What we learned
I learned how to do basic frontend design in JS and HTML
What's next for CensorFlow
I want to implement a stem separator and manipulation tool, as the way this tool is structured, this stem separation is the first step. I can make the first step of stem separation into its own super cool tool as well, which is awesome!
