Inspiration

A lot of phishing emails in cuny email, and gta6 leaks

What it does

reads an email, and gives a rating on how likely it is to be a scam email.

How we built it

we used Gemini API key to help us get a better unstructured judgement on determining wether an email is a scam or not

Challenges we ran into

outlook gave us a lot of issues, since it has a different DOM then gmail.

Getting outlook to work with our catphish app

What we learned

we learned that not all interfaces for emails are the same, and they require different approaches

What's next for CatPhish

Add authentication and secure deployment Add user feedback for incorrect classification Support other mail clients like Yahoo or Aol
