Inspiration
Our inspiration for this program stems from doing online school and wanting to stay motivated and encouraged using positive reinforcement.
What it does
Every hour the user chooses a category which will then generate a quote corresponding to this category.
How we built it
Using our little bit of prior experience from our first semester at McGill
Challenges we ran into
Initially we attempted to create a Twitter bot; however, we ran into problem in terms of the authentication of our Twitter developer account. We then decided to create a Chrome Extension. The challenge we faced was being able to merge our code with this Extension.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Being able to create a program that can serve as a source of motivation to individuals in such a short period of time.
What we learned
We learned that with perseverance we were able to create a functioning program!
