Catalux Track
Inspiration
Fleet operators invest in products that promise fuel savings, but they rarely have an objective way to verify whether those products actually work. We developed Catalux, a fuel combustion catalyst in tablet form designed to improve combustion efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and optimize vehicle performance. To validate these improvements with real operational data, we created Catalux Track.
Catalux Track transforms daily fleet information into measurable evidence, allowing companies to compare vehicle performance before and after using Catalux. Instead of relying on claims, fleet managers can make decisions based on verified data.

What it does
Catalux Track is an intelligent fleet analytics platform specifically designed to measure the impact of Catalux on vehicle performance.
The platform records:
- Vehicle information
- Fuel purchases
- Mileage and distance traveled
- Fuel consumption
- Operating costs
- Catalux usage
- Maintenance history
Using this information, the system automatically compares a baseline period with a period using Catalux and calculates key performance indicators, including:
- Fuel efficiency (km/L)
- Cost per kilometer
- Fuel cost savings
- Operational efficiency improvement
- Vehicle performance trends
Interactive dashboards and automated reports provide clear visual evidence of how Catalux contributes to reducing operating costs while improving fleet efficiency.

How we built it
We developed Catalux Track as a web-based application using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Chart.js to provide an intuitive user experience.
The platform collects operational fleet data and processes it through automated calculations that compare vehicle performance before and after Catalux implementation.
Instead of requiring specialized equipment or sensors, Catalux Track uses operational data that companies already generate every day, making the solution practical, affordable, and easy to adopt.

Challenges we ran into
One of our biggest challenges was designing a comparison methodology that is both technically reliable and easy for fleet managers to understand.
We needed to isolate the effect of Catalux by comparing equivalent operating periods while presenting the results through simple dashboards that clearly demonstrate improvements in fuel efficiency and operating costs.
Another challenge was ensuring that the platform remained easy to use while generating professional, decision-ready reports.
