Inspiration
It's about to be Halloween so BLACK CATS!
What it does
It's a 2 puzzle game, one to avoid asteroids and another to get up a castle!
How we built it
Using Python on Visual Studio code to collaborate. For the comic, Canva was used.
Challenges we ran into
Combing the code from the 2 games, menu, and Canva comic into one code.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Able to combine 2 legendary puzzle games in one convenient platform with an addition to music to remind you which time you're in!
What we learned
We learned a lot about Pygame. Understanding the fundamentals allowed smoother transitions between working on The future and The past. As beginners, we also understood the importance of functions and how to use them properly.
What's next for Cat Travel:
Although the code we have plays each game smoothly we plan on adding level-ups for each puzzle, power-ups, and editing the code to make it one continuous story. The creation of our website allows us to go back to play any time! Also to share with our friends, you know with finals approaching having a fun puzzle to take mental breaks is extremely important.
