Cassava Disease Diagnosis

Inspiration

The inspiration is to help Farmers make better produce based on the fact that cassava is the most common crop grown in Nigeria.

What it does

It tells you the state of your cassava plant

How I built it

I built a deep learning image classifier model using keras, python and numpy then deployed it using Django and heroku

Challenges I ran into

I ran into the problem of finding a suitable dataset. And also trying to reduce the size of the model for scalability during deployment.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Making the model to stop over fitting and also deploying on heroku

What I learned

I learnt the various steps to take and consider when deploying a deep learning model

What's next for Cassava Disease Diagonosis

Making a better model that can classify more than 4 diseases of cassava
