CashTrack

CashTrack was inspired by how confusing student finances can feel when campus payments, dining dollars, meal plans, and personal spending all live in separate places. We wanted to build one clear and simple dashboard that helps students understand their habits and make smarter financial decisions. Throughout this project, we learned how to turn messy transaction data into meaningful insights, design a clean and intuitive user interface, and integrate helpful AI driven guidance through our advisor, Fintelligence. We built CashTrack using Python, Streamlit, and Pandas, and focused on creating an experience that feels both smart and student friendly. Our biggest challenges included organizing multiple data sources, designing a user interface that stayed readable across themes, and refining the login and sidebar interactions, and overcoming these challenges made CashTrack stronger, more intuitive, and genuinely valuable for students.
