Inspiration

Small businesses can be profitable but still face cash shortages when customer payments are delayed while expenses and supplier payments are due. We wanted to build a system that helps businesses see these risks before they become critical.

What it does

Cashflow Autopilot uses business financial data to forecast future cash positions, detect potential liquidity risks, simulate "what-if" situations, and recommend suitable actions. The owner can approve an action before predefined tasks are automated.

The core workflow is:

Predict → Detect Risk → Simulate → Recommend → Approve → Automate

How we built it

We are developing a prototype around a financial dashboard, forecasting and risk-analysis layer, what-if simulation, action recommendation, and an approval-based automation workflow.

Challenges

The main challenge was turning financial data and predictions into useful decisions rather than simply displaying another dashboard. We focused on making the recommendations understandable, actionable, and controlled by the business owner.
