Inspiration
The app is inspired by frustrations with the fees charged by other currency exchange channels.
What it does
This mobile app provides an interface through which users can arrange to meet to exchange currencies of interest at current rates without associated fees.
How I built it
The app is built in Swift using Xcode.
Challenges I ran into
Our initial approach used the React Native framework. After we created some basic screens, it occurred to us that React Native would not supply our design needs.
What I learned
Our team improved its skills with manipulating Swift and React Native.
What's next for CashExchange
Integrating the application with a current currency API for conversion.
