Inspiration
The inspiration for Cash Flow came to Gabe and me when we realized we couldn't come up with good ideas... However, we knew that we weren't alone. We designed Cash Flow with the purpose of helping those who need an extra hand in crafting inspiration for the next big thing!
What it does
Cash Flow utilizes a large database of over 500,000+ unique start-up ideas and then creates a unique twist on each one utilizing AI technologies. The possibilities are truly endless, giving users there own database for creative endeavors to pursue.
How we built it
Using web-development fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, JS and an extensive amount of Three.JS for _ aesthetic_ we had solidified the front-end experience. Simple, efficient, and elegant was the design-inspiration for Cash Flows design.
Challenges we ran into
Major challenges was correctly orienting the moving vectors within Three.JS due to the orthographic perspective that the designer must consider relative to what the user should see. Additionally, truly representing the depth within the design was difficulty to balance with the goal of simplicity.
More on the back-end, configuring the data-chunks to maximize the allocated upload data-size that the AI will use as a basis for its responses was challenging. Additionally, issues arose in initially integrating the database and API using Django and Flask, a much simpler and effective model was able to be constructed on the frontend using html, javascript and node.js.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're really happy over how simple it turned out, though this may not seem like a major accomplishment.
What we learned
A lot of stuff...
