Inspiration
Important deadlines, documents, follow-ups, and government or personal cases can easily become scattered across notes, files, and reminders. CasePilot was built to bring these tasks into one focused mobile workflow.
What it does
CasePilot helps users create and organize cases, track deadlines, search and filter cases, manage follow-ups, and complete cases through a step-by-step progress flow.
Users can attach documents or images. ML Kit OCR extracts text, and Document Insights identify useful information such as deadlines, amounts, organizations, required actions, and priority.
The AI assistant can help create cases, create reminders, and complete matching cases. The "Do It With Me" flow guides users through completing a case.
RevenueCat
CasePilot integrates RevenueCat for its Pro subscription experience, with Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime purchase options.
How we built it
The app is built as an Android application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. It uses local persistence for case data, ML Kit for OCR, an AI backend using Gemini with Grok fallback, and RevenueCat for monetization.
Challenges
The main challenge was connecting several workflows into one simple experience while keeping case progress, follow-ups, documents, reminders, and history connected.
What's next
Future improvements could include richer document processing, more personalized AI assistance, cloud synchronization, and additional integrations.
