Inspiration

We all use discord and thought it would be pogchamp to have a discord bot that can be used in our own servers.

What it does

1) Motivates you with a British Lady Voice. There are over 50 different messages our bot can send so the motivation will never end! 2) Start up a game of connect 4 that you can play with your homies

How we built it

We used Python, Pygame, GitHub, and Spyder to create our program. Every team member was tasked with a different part of the code and then we put those functions together for our final program.

Challenges we ran into

1) Learning Python. Most of our team had never used python previously so it was hard to adjust to the sytax of python. Luckily python sytax is simple. 2) Translating our code into discord server language. Our programs ran well when we tested them with python but we had to make sure it would work on a discord server.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

When we first tested our bot in another server, all the 10+ brothers in the same channel freaked out when they heard a voice giving them a motivating message. When we first saw the connect 4 board on our discord chat channel

What we learned

How to work in a team, how to code with python, and how to solve frustrating code issues. IT was a lit experience that made us learn a lot faster than just regular school.
