Kids always watch cartoons on T.V or mobile but what if they come to your home! It would be more fun that your favorite cartoons are in your home just before you.

Inspiration

In my childhood I used to love cartoons so much, not just me but everyone does same. I often spent huge time upon imagining the world of my favorite cartoons. I used to think as if I am in that story and these cartoons are playing with me. But always got disappointed that these are fictions and they wont come my home and I cant see them in reality. So this project will remove such thing as it will bring cartoons to home.

What it does

It uses technique of augmented reality to bring cartoons to your home. When you see your house it can be your bedroom or drawing room through this website using camera you will see cartoons there.

How I built it

I have used some 3d cartoon models and markers so as to locate cartoons and as the system detects the marker it would be augmented by 3d cartoon. For this Ar.js is used along with html code so as to make a website.

Challenges I ran into

Firstly the models were not getting augmented because of various factors also videos were also not getting augmented using image tracking.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This project is working fine and kids will love this as it is bringing their loved cartoons to own house & now they can see them more real than in imagination using this platform.

What I learned

I learned how to do augmented reality in web as what it needs and also how I can use these techniques to enhance our experiences.

What's next for Cartoons-in-House

Next things for this project are to bring cartoons which can talk and play some interactive games with them so that this would be more real and engaging. Also augmentation without markers so as their enhance experience.
