Inspiration
We have always dreamt of having our favourite cartoon characters in the same place, the story of our childhood. Now, "Cartoon Ator" makes that possible.
What it does
The program lets you choose from a big variety of characters, a specific genre and then it combines all of them into one place. Imagine having all the princesses and princes in the same castle.
How we built it
We used different tools in order to finish the project. Xcode and Visual Studio were used for creating the GUI and transitions. Furthermore, an SQL has been used in order to store all the names. In the background, the program restricts the stories and possibilities depending on your choices.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into some problems regarding the way Xcode works. Moreover, the project has been a challenge because of the unknown programming language or lack of experience with the tools.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are really proud of finishing the project and being able to create a demo. We really hope that the project will help creating more wonderful stories.
What we learned
We learnt C#, Visual Studio, Xcode and how to write a cartoon script.
What's next for Cartoon Ator
The next features we are thinking of adding:
- Sound and sound tracks
- Longer stories.
- The user will be able to create their story, add more characters and more genres.
