Working in a team, trying to solve big challenge such as reducing CO2 emissions
What it does
To tackle the issue of greenhouse gas emissions in freight transportation, we must start by understanding how emissions are calculated. The formula for calculating emissions consider the distance traveled, the weight of the cargo, and the Emissions Factor (EF) generated by several sources, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). At CarryGo, we plan to optimize traditional transportation by making it more digitalized. By implementing advanced technology, we aim to reduce the carbon footprint of freight transportation by improving route planning, making weight balance, adding weather forecasting to reduce idle time, and minimizing fuel consumption.
