Carpooling system through system contracts

Most carpooling systems are in control of one agency. A smart contract that would connect rider and driver directly without the intervention apps like Uber or Ola and keeping data private.

Inspiration

we got inspired by the people who want to travel to various destinations through carpooling.

What it does

Our app connects people who want to be a part of the carpooling system a car owner who is going to a particular place can allow other people in his car through our app and the data of the owner and the passenger will be verified by the app and it will be kept hidden to both the car owner and passenger without revealing the identity in case of emergency situation the location and the identity will be shared to police officers and their family in case of any serious injury.

How we built it

We built this app on the solidity language (OOP language) on XDC network using smart contracts concept making it as a digital app or decentralized app.

Challenges we ran into

We faced many issues while creating the app and its features like app crash and server problems.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the idea and and our app as this is going to make this earth a better place for travelling independent of public transport.

What we learned

We have learnt about solidity language and how to use XDC network.

What's next for Carpooling system through system contracts

We are researching on making this app smoother and have good user interface.
