Inspiration
We found that organizing carpools in student organizations was highly inefficient
What it does
We created a web app that allows for a more organized way to organize rides between people
How we built it
We utilized React and Tailwind to create a web app, and Node.js and Firebase for our database
Challenges we ran into
Because for many of us this was our first time coding outside of what we were comfortable with, there was definitely a learning curve.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we we're able to construct a fully functioning product.
What we learned
Many of us learned new Front End skills, an area that we were very new to.
What's next for Carpool.tech
We want to completely finish up planned functionality and pitch our sites to different orgs around campus.
