Inspiration

Creating a platform for small as well as big content creators and rewarding each contributor in a decentralized manner.

What it does

Carnival is one stop destination for entertainment. The content creators can add fractional ownership to their content. They can convert the poster of their video into NFT and distribute to a lucky winner out of the viewers who watched their content on day 1. Also they can upload swag NFTs for sale. The viewers have to pay only for the content they watch.

How we built it

The login for this dapp have been made with the help of Moralis. To get the accurate count of number of views and viewers who watched the video on day 1 we have stored the count in blockchain and to prevent the user from paying gas fees for this purpose we have made use of Biconomy. The NFTs are stored with nft.storage and IPFS. To find the lucky winner we have made use of Chainlink.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating all the sub parts of the Dapp was a chaallenge.

What we learned

Chainlink was quite useful and a secure way and fit our usecase, so we wanted to make use of the features provided by chainlink.
