Inspiration
Our inspiration for competing in the GlobalHack, we believe homelessness can be fought. The Carnahan cougars believe that homelessness is not a choice, but a phase in life. When we see homeless people we don't see the need to ignore them we feel the need to help as much as we can. We believe homelessness shouldn't be a option for anyone. Everyone could live the life they want to live not the life they wish to live.
What it does
our project give the essential resources that a homeless person needs to be a contributing citizen
How we built it
we built our website using HTML, CSS, and PHP.
Challenges we ran into
the challenges we faced The Carnahan Team just got started two weeks ago, we had never heard of the GLOBAL HACKVI, and just began an after school program for coding. Despite these challenges we are excited to participate, meet, and learn from other hackers
Accomplishments that we're proud of Despite our challenges we learn to work together, share expertise, and mounted a mighty effort to complete our web site on time. We are proud of the fact, that we gave it our best effort and we learned to code.
What we learned
by participating in GlobalHack we learned the basics of coding and more. We learned great teamwork skills and how to consider everyone ideas.
