We see this as something that the Auto Insurance industry might be very interested in since it could help reduce overall car theft, vandalism costs especially if rolled out to all vehicles and this would lower insurance payouts. Additionally, if you are closer enough to see your car being broken into, this is a safer way to gather evidence and ward off the offender than approaching him or her.
