Inspiration

Our inspiration going into RamHacks, came from the desire to experience a hackathon environment and also to learn new and various ways to incorporate a variety of coding languages in real life applications.

What it does

So for our application, we had to implement a technological solution to a problem CarMax was dealing with. The issue with their current system of manual updates of hardcopy to show the availability of a car was very inefficient. It was unable to properly represent real-time status of a car a customer would be interested in. Our program attempts to solve this issue by automating the process through live online development which essentially handles the exceptions of the existing system.

How we built it

We had to use QR code formation to make it easy for the customers to access the status update for the cars. We used python and flask for the coding side and html and css for the web development.
