How we built it

We built an online shop feature so that buyers can find all the items they are looking for in one search. The benefit is in terms of payment of shipping costs. For example, if a buyer purchases two items through different online stores, of course they have to pay for both shipping costs. Imagine if the buyer can find it in one shop, of course they only need to pay one shipping fee because the goods needed are in the same store and location. We will also recommend based on the total price of goods and shipping costs. or it can be called a ranking in a search based on the lowest total price and lowest shipping costs (according to the closest location)

Challenges we ran into

The challenges we face today may be more about the online store database issue that inspires us, where we will manage the database in the system we created to produce the latest data. With a name that is not yet big, it will be difficult to collaborate with companies that are already large or already established

What we learned

Research on how much influence shipping costs have on the items we are looking for in online stores. Another research is regarding databases, where we manage scrapping data from online stores (Tokopedia) for us to manage so as to produce one output that minimizes shipping costs in purchases at online stores

What's next for Caritoko

We are trying to make the "Search for Stores" feature a reality so that buyers can immediately use them to search for goods in online stores in order to minimize the purchase of more than one item with additional shipping costs they pay. "Find the shop, get it all."
