There are many unresolved issues in the industry: who accounts for stops when calculating final profit or loss? Who factors in fuel price fluctuations? Most industry software overlooks these details, treating them as "phantom losses"—and that is where CargoVigil comes in.
CargoVigil is an app designed to address challenges in maritime, land, and air transport by ensuring accurate accounting and tracking for every shipment. Companies can use CargoVigil to log trips and monitor them in near real-time. The platform manages contracts, delivery dates, and itemized final pricing, while accounting for variables such as fuel costs, potential losses from theft, and common expenses like toll fees; these costs are calculated as estimates and projections before the trip is even logged.
Additionally, the app provides a view of historical fuel price changes and issues encountered during previous trips.
Naturally, all of this is done in compliance with Mexican regulations; for instance, the system obtains express consent regarding data usage and ensures storage complies with applicable laws.
