Inspiration
We were inspired by the lack of visibility and coordination in logistics, where shipment delays and inefficiencies often create major challenges for businesses. We wanted to build something that makes tracking smarter and more reliable.
What it does
CargoSense ingests shipment data, validates it, and runs it through intelligent agents that provide insights on routes, carriers, and timelines. It delivers a clear, real-time view of cargo movement.
How we built it
We built CargoSense using a network of containerized agents connected via an orchestrator. Each agent handles a specific task like ingestion, validation, and routing, and the outputs are combined into a seamless workflow accessible through FastAPI.
Challenges we ran into
Our biggest challenge was integrating multiple agents smoothly and ensuring consistent data quality across them. We also had to optimize for speed while keeping the system modular.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We’re proud of building a functioning end-to-end system within the hackathon timeline, and of designing it in a modular way that can scale.
What we learned
We learned the importance of orchestrating multiple agents, working with real-world shipment data, and designing clean data pipelines under time pressure.
What's next for CargoSense
Next, we want to add predictive analytics for delays, expand support for more data sources, and make the system production-ready for real logistics operations.
