This is where CareSathi comes in. 🏥📱 🔴 The Problem People in rural areas may face: • 👨‍⚕️ Limited access to doctors – Healthcare facilities can be far away. • 📶 Poor internet connectivity – Smartphone-based healthcare solutions may not always work. • 🗣️ Language & literacy barriers – Patients may find typing or understanding medical terms difficult. • 📋 Missing health history – Previous symptoms, referrals and follow-ups may not be easily available. • 🏥 Difficulty finding the right facility – The nearest healthcare center may not always have the required facilities. 💡 Our Solution – CareSathi 1️⃣ Easy Access Patients can use CareSathi in two ways: 📱 Manual PWA – Voice, text, icons and touch 📞 Toll-Free IVR – Voice interaction and keypad input Both channels follow the same core triage process. 2️⃣ 🌐 Language + Consent The patient selects a supported language and gives consent before sharing health information. 3️⃣ 📋 Patient History CareSathi checks relevant previous health information to avoid repeatedly collecting the same information. 4️⃣ 🗣️ Guided Symptom Collection Instead of asking patients to type complicated medical information, CareSathi uses: 🎤 Voice ⌨️ Text 🔘 Simple Yes/No buttons 🩺 Symptom icons This makes the system easier to use for rural, elderly and low-literacy users. 5️⃣ 🚨 Red-Flag Safety Check Safety comes first. A deterministic Red-Flag Engine checks emergency symptoms before AI/ML. 🔴 Red Flag → Emergency pathway 🟢 No Red Flag → Continue to AI/ML triage 6️⃣ 🤖 AI/ML Triage For non-emergency cases, AI/ML evaluates the collected symptoms and relevant history to suggest the urgency and next step. ⚠️ It does not diagnose the patient. 7️⃣ 🎯 Confidence Check The system checks how confident the result is. ✅ High confidence → Continue with the appropriate pathway ⚠️ Low confidence/complex case → Human healthcare support or controlled AI Agent pathway 8️⃣ 🏥 Right Facility Recommendation CareSathi considers: 📍 Patient location 🚨 Urgency 🏥 Facility capability So the system doesn't simply choose the nearest hospital — it aims to identify an appropriate facility. 9️⃣ 👩‍⚕️ CHW & Doctor Support When human assistance is needed: 👩‍⚕️ CHWs can review cases, support patients and manage referrals. 👨‍⚕️ Doctors can review cases, add clinical notes, provide medical advice and manage 🔟 🔄 Follow-Up & Health History
