The genesis of CareNetAI was driven by the urgent global need for more accessible healthcare services and the vast potential of AI to fill this gap. Inspired by the stories of individuals in underserved regions struggling to obtain timely medical diagnoses, we envisioned a platform that could offer immediate, accurate, and accessible healthcare support globally, leveraging the power of AI and ML technologies.

What it does

CareNetAI harnesses advanced AI and ML algorithms to provide two pivotal services: a conversational AI for emotional support and healthcare guidance, and a revolutionary disease detection tool capable of diagnosing conditions like Alzheimer's, Lung Cancer, Pneumonia, Tuberculosis, and COVID-19 from medical images. This blend of services aims to make healthcare more accessible, improve patient outcomes, and provide emotional support to those in need.

How we built it

Our journey began with assembling a team of AI enthusiasts and healthcare professionals passionate about making a difference. We leveraged open-source technologies and proprietary algorithms, including CNN architectures like Xception and VGG19 for disease detection and RAG, Mistral, and LLAMA2 LLMs for our conversational AI. The development process was iterative, involving rigorous testing, feedback from medical professionals, and continuous refinement to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Challenges we ran into

One of the most significant challenges was ensuring the high accuracy of disease detection while maintaining user privacy and data security. Balancing the computational demands of deep learning models with the need for a responsive and accessible platform was also challenging, especially when aiming for global scalability. Additionally, navigating the complex landscape of healthcare regulations across different countries presented its own set of hurdles.
