Inspiration

During the pandemic, we noticed how families struggled to manage multiple medical reports, doctor consultations, and prescriptions across different platforms. The idea for CareLink was born from a desire to simplify healthcare management—bringing all family health data into one secure, connected ecosystem. We wanted to create a system that not only stores data but also provides timely reminders, emergency insights, and AI-driven wellness tracking.

What it does

CareLink is a digital health platform that helps families monitor, manage, and maintain their medical information with ease.

Centralized health records for all family members.

Smart reminders for medicines, appointments, and vaccinations.

Emergency access card for doctors to view vital data instantly.

AI-based health analytics to detect trends or anomalies.

Teleconsultation & prescription management for quick medical help.

How we built it

Frontend: React.js, Tailwind CSS for responsive UI.

Backend: Node.js with Express for scalable APIs.

Database: MongoDB for dynamic health data storage.

Authentication: Firebase Authentication for secure user login.

Hosting: Netlify for front-end deployment, Render for backend.

AI Module: Python-based Flask microservice integrated for predictive health scoring and risk alerts.
