Inspiration

The inspiration behind creating the Carelink Apple Watch App stemmed from a desire to empower individuals with real-time insights into their well-being. Recognizing the potential of wearable technology to revolutionize health monitoring, the app was envisioned to make daily health management accessible and engaging, providing a powerful new source for Healthcare providers to know more about their patients health than before.

What it does

Carelink is an application that takes Health Data from your Apple Watch (such as Heart rate, Respiratory rate, Blood Oxygen levels, Sleep quality, and Physical Activity) and converts them into useful insights with the help of different kinds of graphs. Our application has a Client interface and a Caretaker interface depending on whom the user may be.

How we built it

We used Next.js for our front-end, and Google Firebase for our back-end.

Challenges we ran into

We had a hard time coming up with a good interface initially, but after countless revisions we came up with something that looked professional and visually appealing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We can successfully fetch information from an Apple Watch, pass it to our application, and display that information to that users' profile.
