Here is how you might structure and fill in the sections for a project description about "CAREKARO," a healthcare project using only HTML and CSS:
Inspiration
The idea of CAREKARO was inspired by our interest in making it an easy-to-use, visually appealing platform for healthcare awareness and assistance. We wanted to make accessible information on health services and self-care tips to users without having complex backend systems.
What it does Apart from being a very simple and intuitive web application focused on healthcare, CAREKARO provides users with: - Basic tips on healthcare. - A layout-friendly design for easy navigation. - Static information for general health practices, visually pleasing and responsive designs.
How we built it
We built CAREKARO entirely using HTML and CSS:
- HTML for structuring of content, that is, it was used for ensuring all sections made sense.
- CSS for the styling of the website, such that it became aesthetically pleasing and fitted well on other screen sizes.
Challenges we ran into
- Design limitations: Because we did not have a backend, we needed to focus only on static content and ensure it added value for users.
- Responsive design: It was not easy to make the site responsive across devices with only CSS.
- Content organization: Structuring health-related information in an engaging yet concise manner was difficult.
What we are proud of
- We managed to create a fully functional and aesthetically pleasing website with only HTML and CSS.
- We achieved a responsive design that works across devices. A project based on health which did not have to involve all the complex technologies.
What we learned Skills CSS: Increased the knowledge about some of the advance CSS, especially media queries and animations. UI/UX: Learnt principles for developing usable interfaces in a static website. Collaboration: Learned to collaborate on tasks, even challenge issues together
What's next for CAREKARO
Adding interactivity by adding JavaScript to make it more dynamic. Including a backend for storing and retrieving user-specific data, probably through Node.js or Python (Flask/Django). Extending the website with a blog section with health tips as well as a simple chatbot for FAQs.
