Carefree is a healthcare platform that includes the mobile and web end and helps provide care to patients in emergency situations. When a patient needs help, he or she clicks a button on his or her Android phone screen. Then the patient's basic info will be displayed on the screen, which will stay on until a certified first responder arrives, deactivates the app, and takes care of the patient. Meanwhile, an alarm will be sent to the web server and shown on a website. If the alarm is not deactivated for more than 10 minutes, then the closest hospitals will receive requests to send medical professionals to where the patient is.
