Inspiration
majority of students coming into post secondary are contemplated about which degree to do and what prerequisites are needed.
What it does
it is a assisting program that helps provide information to the user about the prerequisites and courses needed to finish their program in a uniformed manner.
How we built it
we used an online sfu api to access the prerequisites and we hardcoded the degrees. we then made the interface so the user can enter in which degree they need to finish.
Challenges we ran into
team conflict, wanting to do different back end which slowed us down.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
we had a solid understanding of what needed to be done.
What we learned
we learned how to properly access the sfu api and connect it to the user interface so the user can access the information with ease.
What's next for CareerPilot
we need to add more degrees so that anyone can use this program.
