🌟 Inspiration Career decisions are overwhelming — especially with endless options, outdated advice, and pressure to “figure it out.” I saw too many students struggling without clarity or direction, and parents unsure how to help. That’s when I envisioned CareerPathAI — an intelligent, personalized companion that makes career planning simple, inclusive, and future-ready.

🚀 What it does CareerPathAI analyzes your interests, learning preferences, and goals to recommend the best-fit career paths, complete with: AI-generated career roadmaps Phase-wise learning journeys Certification & project suggestions Resume generation based on real job descriptions A downloadable Parent Guide A 24/7 AI Career Chat Assistant A progress tracker and resource library

It’s built to support students, career switchers, and parents — all in one seamless platform.

🛠️ How I built it I used React and Vite to build a fast, responsive frontend. The backend is powered by Node.js and Express, with Supabase managing authentication, database, and storage. The core intelligence runs on Groq AI, which powers career path generation, roadmaps, resume creation, and chatbot conversations. PDF exports are handled using jsPDF and html2pdf, and the logic is driven by user inputs from a custom-built Career Quiz.
