Inspiration

The idea for building a Career Counsellor Website stemmed from the realization that many students struggle with making informed career decisions due to a lack of accessible, reliable, and personalized guidance. While interacting with peers and juniors, I noticed a recurring uncertainty about career paths, course selections, and skill development. This motivated me to create a centralized platform that can guide students based on their interests, academic background, and goals.

What it does

The Career Counsellor Website helps students explore suitable career paths based on their interests and academic background. It offers personalized recommendations, career-related resources, and interactive tools like quizzes and blogs to guide students in making informed career decisions.

How we built it

We built the Career Counsellor Website using Bolt.new, which allowed us to quickly design and deploy a responsive and interactive web platform. Using its no-code/low-code interface, we integrated custom forms, embedded quizzes, and dynamic content sections without complex coding. This helped us focus more on user experience, content, and functionality in a short time.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we faced was customizing certain features within the limitations of Bolt.new's platform. We also had to ensure the user experience remained smooth across different devices. Additionally, organizing content in a way that was both informative and engaging for students required careful planning and multiple iterations.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of creating a user-friendly and visually appealing platform that genuinely helps students make informed career choices. Despite using a no-code tool, we successfully implemented interactive features like quizzes and resource sections. Receiving positive feedback from users about the website’s simplicity and usefulness was a major achievement for our team.

What we learned

We learned how to design an intuitive user experience using no-code tools like Bolt.new, collaborate effectively as a team, and think from the user’s perspective. We also gained insights into structuring content for student engagement and the importance of feedback in improving a product.

What's next for CareerGrowth Pro -AI Powered Guidance

Next, we plan to integrate AI-driven career recommendations based on user data, interests, and academic profiles. We also aim to add features like live chat with counsellors, personalized roadmaps, and skill-based course suggestions. Expanding the platform to support multiple languages and reach students from diverse backgrounds is also a key goal in our roadmap.
