Inspiration Career Pulse AI was inspired by the real challenges I and many others face in Sierra Leone: accessing career guidance, CV improvement, and locally relevant business ideas is difficult. Most AI tools are designed for developed economies and do not consider local job markets, limited capital, or infrastructure constraints.

What it does Career Pulse AI provides: Personalized career and learning roadmaps CV and interview improvement for professionals transitioning to new fields Practical, low-capital business ideas suitable for local markets Structured, actionable advice using steps and bullet points

How I built it The app was built with: Google AI Studio using Gemini 3 (Flash Preview) Custom system instructions to make Gemini act as a “Community Career Advisor” Carefully designed example prompts for instant testing Chrome browser interface for easy user access OBS Studio to record the demo video Google Maps API grounding for Sierra Leone locations Prompt engineering ensures outputs are structured, actionable, and context-aware.
