Inspiration

I built Career Mirror because the job market is brutal right now — people are sending hundreds of applications and hearing nothing back, and I wanted to fix every broken step of that process in one place.

What it does

Career Mirror analyzes your resume with an AI score across 5 dimensions, matches it against any job description, highlights missing keywords, generates tailored cover letters, and creates a personalized 30-day skill plan to close your gaps.

How we built it

I built the entire full-stack application using MeDo — I described all 6 pages, features, and logic in a single Deep Build prompt and MeDo generated the complete app including frontend, backend, and database.

Challenges we ran into

My biggest challenge was fitting a complex multi-feature app into a single optimized prompt to conserve credits while still getting MeDo to generate all the AI scoring logic and data persistence correctly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that MeDo generated a fully functional resume scoring engine with color-coded visual feedback and a real job-description gap analyzer from just one prompt — no manual coding required.

What we learned

I learned how to structure detailed natural language prompts to get production-quality full-stack apps from MeDo in a single generation, which completely changed how I think about building software.

What's next for Career Mirror

I plan to add AI-powered interview prep with predicted questions based on the job description, and LinkedIn profile optimization to complete the end-to-end job search workflow.
