Inspiration

Have you ever lost track of where you applied or forgot which company replied? We faced the same problem while applying for jobs, so we wanted a simple and visual way to track everything in one place.

What it does

Career Garden helps you track your job applications in a fun garden style. Each job grows from a seed 🌱 to a tree 🌳 based on its status like applied, interview, accepted, or rejected.

How we built it

We built Career Garden using React and Tailwind CSS for the design. Google login is used for authentication, and all job data is saved safely in the browser using localStorage.

Challenges we ran into

Managing job states and keeping the data saved for each user was challenging. Making the app fully responsive and easy to use on all devices also took time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the clean UI, smooth user experience, and the unique garden concept. The app works well on mobile and desktop and makes job tracking less stressful.
