A bridge that would not only connect job seekers to their dream positions but also equip them with insights to improve their chances.

What it does

CareerConnect is more than just a browser extension. It acts as a personalized career consultant. Users upload their resume, and CareerConnect compares it against the desired job description, providing a matching score. It pinpoints strengths, highlights areas that need attention, and even offers suggestions to optimize the resume.

How we built it

Utilizing cutting-edge AI algorithms, we used CareerConnect to understand job descriptions and call GPT API to beyond mere keywords. Semantic analysis allows the tool to grasp the context behind every word in a resume, ensuring a comprehensive match. Furthermore, we implemented feedback loops to continually refine and enhance the matching process.

Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest challenges was ensuring that CareerConnect wouldn't just rely on keyword stuffing. We wanted genuine, meaningful matches. Creating an algorithm that could discern context in varied job descriptions from diverse industries took time and rigorous testing.
