Making career choices and AI-based counseling accessible to every child at the secondary level along with aptitude tests and detailed career paths. Students are often confused with their career choices and nowadays generation has big dreams of what they want to become. But they can have no clarification or idea about the domain. Students don't have a stable mindset in picking the right domain as a dream career for them.
SOLUTION Our Idea is a career-based E-learning platform that has a personalized learning path based on individual learning styles and career choice
Secondary Students are the main users, they have to go through an assessment model, and with that we suggest a few career options
And the student can choose which best suits them and interests them. And then we provide a roadmap for them, on how to start preparing for that career.
With the data we get from the test, we analyze and give them the right roadmap and suggestions for better career planning.
Inspiration: Most students start to work for their dream jobs from their college time. But nowadays even 6 and 7th students have started coding, and building small projects. They are interested in going into a specific field and ready to work on it. But they don't have a proper roadmap. What if they have a proper roadmap to make it to their dream field of work?
What it does: Our platform analyses their skill level and interest level in the specific field with the help of certain questions we ask them. With the scores and answers we analyze and give them suggestions about their career path.
How we built it: We built it in a way, where we first ask their domain of interest and then we ask them a list of questions related to the field. With the answers, we analyze their level of skill and provide them with a roadmap for their career development. We provide them with resources and help.
Challenges we ran into: We found a challenge in making the platform a fun space for students. We find it hard to run the data and make a perfect roadmap for specific fields like (Nursing and biology).
Accomplishments that we're proud of are the way our roadmap can make the student have a narrow mind in their goal. They do not deviate from multiple works. Also, we make our platform a social space where they can connect with other students.
** What we learned**: We have learned to run data and provide analytical solutions to real-time applications. We got this chance to learn about deploying our project in Linux One and had a good experience in the datathon.
What's Next for Career Choice Platform For Secondary Students: Our next plan is to make this platform a mobile app and launch it for secondary students to help them achieve their goals.
