Inspiration

We were appalled by the abject lack of career resources for youth, and set out to fix this.

What it does

CareerCare connects disadvantaged youth with experienced professionals willing to mentor them.

How we built it

We built CareerCare with HTML, CSS, JS, Cohere, ExpressJS.

Challenges we ran into

We found that our vision was not consistent, and that it was difficult to stick to our original plan.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we managed to complete such a gargantuan project in practically 12 hours.

What we learned

We learned that we come prepared next time to design a frontend. Also, that we should thoroughly design and think through our idea before we begin implementing, so that we do not suffer an identity crisis midway.

What's next for Career Care

We hope to grow CareerCare to at least five billion in revenue by Q3 of 2024.
